About Spokane Electric Pros
How Our Electrician Referral Service Works
Spokane Electric Pros is a free phone referral service for electrical work in Spokane and Spokane County, Washington. Here’s exactly what happens when you call, who does the work, and how we’re paid.
Free referral to an independent, L&I-licensed electrical contractor. You’re never obligated to hire.
What we are
A Referral Line, Not an Electrical Contractor
We are a referral service, not an electrical contractor. When you call, we connect you with an independent, licensed electrical contractor that serves your area, when one is available. That company diagnoses the problem, explains what it found, gives you a price and does any work you approve.
Electrical problems rarely wait for a convenient time. A breaker that won’t stay on in January, a dead kitchen circuit the night before a holiday dinner, or a service mast bent by a windstorm. Searching, calling around and waiting for callbacks takes time you don’t have. Our line is meant to make that first step simpler: one number, one call, and you’re talking with a licensed electrician who works in your part of Spokane County.
This website is meant to be useful on its own, too. Our guides to electrical services in Spokane, WA, electrical repair, panel upgrades and rewiring explain what’s going on with your electrical system, what to do right away and what questions to ask, whether you call us or not.

Who Does the Work, and How We’re Paid
About the electricians
The companies you may be connected with are independently owned businesses. Their inspections, estimates, workmanship, materials, warranties and insurance belong to them, not to us. Treat them like any contractor you invite to your home: ask questions, read the contract and keep copies of everything.
Washington licenses electrical contractors and certifies electricians through the Department of Labor & Industries (L&I). Ask for the license number and look it up, confirm who will pull the permit, and get the price, scope and warranty in writing. Inside Spokane city limits, the City of Spokane issues electrical permits; elsewhere, L&I usually does.
How we’re paid
The call is free for you. We may be paid by participating electrical contractors for referrals. That payment never changes what you pay the company, and you are never obligated to hire anyone we connect you with.
How we write our guides
Our guides explain how home electrical systems work and fail in plain language: panels and breakers, outlets, GFCI and AFCI protection, knob-and-tube wiring, EV chargers and generators, and the storms and cold winters that shape electrical work in the Inland Northwest. We write for homeowners, and we try to say clearly when a job is for a professional.
Our guides are general information, not a substitute for a licensed electrician seeing your home in person, and not insurance or legal advice. The most important safety advice we can give: turn off a circuit that smells hot, never open a panel yourself, and stay far away from downed power lines.
We take calls from Spokane and nearby communities, including Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Mead and Cheney, plus Airway Heights, Deer Park, Medical Lake and Millwood. Coverage depends on each company’s service area.
